Holiday Weekend
Sunday, November 26th, 2006Well was the first U.S. thanksgiving for the wife. We had a pretty good weekend. The wife has found a job here in the states and I think is beginning to adjust to it out here. I know she is still home, sick so who knows if we will be staying or going. On a side note to the canada and u.s. poker thing u see the province of ontario is starting to follow the lead of the u.s. which is digusting they need to follow their british rule in this case in my humble opinion. Well what did we do this weekend well we had dinner with the parents, went to the movies and watch some football. She doesn’t like football to much her love is hockey.
We have been real busy here in the month of november hence the lack of posts. I have been starting to work on a new career. I have decided I need to find some steady income to come in with the state of online poker being shaky I want to have a security blanket. I went back to school to do my prelicensing to become a life agent. I know you are saying no sales experience he won’t last long. You are right I might not. I did not think I would last long in poker but I am able to provide for my family with it. So I want to take a shot at this, I will only be doing this part time. My test for the state exam is December 14. I am still up in their who I want to work for. The wife is working at a art place. I am real happy for her because she sold her art place back home in canada to come out here. She seems to really like it.
Also I have been doing a lot of dealing of late, the wife has begun to start dealing as well and she has had some fun doing that. She is only dealing black jack!. Here in the month of december are pay doubles so we will begin to make some decent money for that to hopefully have a nice christmas.
How as poker been going well the month started off real slow and I have been picking up steam of late. I have played a variety of games this month from head’s up limit, 6 max limit, NL full and 6 max NL. I am beginning to like NL more and more each day. The way I play poker and limits I play I feel I make more money playing NL at the micro levels then I do playing 1/2 full ring limit holdem or 6 max. I am still pretty new to NL and don’t know when to push the edges but I am learning every day. I am still propping but another of my gravy train places change their financial arrangements with the props so I am looking for another home. I just recently got rakeback accounts at full tilt, absolute poker and ultimate bet which all 3 have enough traffic for me to find good games at the limits I play.
